Assistant professor at Department of Experimental Physics of Palacký University in Olomouc. In his research activities he focuses on the development of the Mössbauer spectroscopy technique and also on its application in materials research.

Currently employed as a laboratory technician at the Deparment of Experimental Physics of Palacký University in Olomouc. Main focus of his work is measurement control and automatization in the field of Mössbauer spectroscopy. Marek is also an applied physics postgraduate student at the Faculty of Sciences of Palacký University with main interest of research in In situ Mössbauer spectroscopy systems, focused mainly on the design, construction and programmatic control of such devices.
